More Than a Job

We're hiring for a Forensic Accounting, Litigation & Valuation Services (FLVS) Senior for our New York City office. Responsibilities include and are not limited to the following:

-Work in the arena of forensic accounting, valuation, litigation support services, and expert witness testimony
-Support our FLVS practice on various client and non-client services tasks to produce deliverables and work product to a high standard of quality control including financial, numerical, and grammatical aspects
-Author expert reports to be used in securities fraud litigation, damage calculations, or other disputes
-Perform research, and general consulting on issues concerning GAAP and GAAS
-Provide fraud investigations, damages calculations, valuations, and full-service litigation support for law firms across the nation, on matters of both national attention and those that impact small businesses in our city and neighborhoods
-Work consistently on a variety of matters, in a variety of venues; in support of both plaintiffs and defendants, to promote integrity and accountability in corporate accounting and business services

Minimum Qualifications

-Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field
-3+ years' experience in a related role
-Possess superior organizational skills
-Strong management skills; capable of managing multiple engagements at a time, the number of which will be a function of the size of each engagement measured by the billing
-Strong interpersonal as well as strong verbal and communication skills
-Ad hoc work as needed

Preferred Qualifications

-1+ years' of supervisory experience in related role; expert witness testimony is a plus
-3+ years' experience in a related role; preferably in forensics, litigation support, valuation services, tax or audit
-Consumer products and M&A experience
-Master's degree in Accounting
-CPA License or on track to obtain
-Other certifications in financial forensics or fraud examinations can be helpful but not required
-Prior public accounting firm experience
-Software Experience CCH ProSystem, Microsoft Office 365 & QuickBooks
