More Than a Job

We're hiring for a Forensic Accounting, Litigation & Valuation Services (FLVS) Manager for our New York City office. Responsibilities include and are not limited to the following:

-Analysis of documents, records and testimony provided in connection with different types of forensic investigations, civil litigation engagements and business valuations for litigation related engagements
-Prepare different types of litigation engagements, tax-related valuations as well as valuations for financial reporting purposes
-Manage engagements involving forensic accounting and commercial litigation, including regular interface with attorneys and business owners and executives
-Operate as the 'right-hand' of the Practice Leader
-Improve the engagement management process in order to produce reports more quickly and to a higher standard of Quality Control
-Supervise, train and mentor staff
-Take initiative in other areas (e.g., marketing and business development) as workload permits
-Ad hoc assignments as needed

Minimum Qualifications

-Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field
-5+ years' experience in a relevant field and at least 3 years' experience in the FLVS space
-Strong management skills; capable of managing multiple engagements at a time, the number of which will be a function of the size of each engagement measured by the billing
-Excellent verbal and written communication skills
-Possess superior organizational and quantitative skills
-Ability to work independently but able to support partners

Preferred Qualifications

-Master's degree in Accounting or related field
-CPA License or on track to obtain
-At least one BV credential (ABV, CVA and/or ASA)
-Prior experience assisting on Expert Witness Testimony case(s)
-Consumer products and M&A industry experience
-Software Experience CCH ProSystem, Microsoft Office 365 and QuickBooks
