General Responsibilities:

The Planner, Meeting and Travel assists in varied aspects of travel and the pre/during/post logistical planning necessary to ensure the success of Federation meetings, including ancillary travel related to duties of the President/CEO, Board of Directors, and Federation executives and employees, as required.


Ability to interact and manage multiple personality types; while providing superior customer service
Comfortable working directly with the Board of Directors and top-level executives both inside and outside the organization
Efficiently manage complex and varied workload
Excellent organizational and time management skills and the ability to prioritize and anticipate needs before they arise
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Excellent follow-up skills
Strong attention to detail
High level of confidentiality
Proficient in Microsoft Outlook, Excel, Word
Ability to work additional evening and weekend hours when necessary
Intermittent travel required

Professional Background Required:
Education: Bachelor's degree required. Bachelor's degree in Hotel and Restaurant Management, Hospitality, Business Administration, or related major preferred.

Experience: Minimum of one to three years of meeting planning/convention planning experience, preferably in an associations or corporate setting.
