Engineering Technician III
KBR is engaged in the integration, test and evaluation, installation, maintenance, configuration, and management of Area Control Systems (ACS) equipment for our Navy client located in St. Inigoes, Maryland. KBR is seeking an Engineering Technician II to provide routine to moderately complex technical services to the organization. Under direct supervision, the Engineering Technician II will apply engineering principles in a team environment to perform installation, integration, test and evaluation, and repair and maintenance of Air Traffic Control (ATC) and other ACS systems. This position requires daily interaction with KBR ACS Hardware team members and Government customer representatives. The person in this position will be required to travel up to 25 percent of the time.
EXPERIENCE and EDUCATION:
Experience: One to three years of technical experience in performing engineering technician functions in air traffic control systems or 24 credits of post high school classes can be substituted for the experience.
Education: High School Diploma or GED.
