AECOM is seeking an experienced Systems Program Manager for support of current and future projects and serve as the Deputy Systems Lead for the NY Metro Area. The successful candidate will support the management and development of the transit/rail systems staff along with supporting business development as related to systems programs.

Oversight and management of systems projects relating to train control, traction power, communications, and security systems in working railroad environment

Ability to coordinate closely with clients, contractors, and project partners

Lead the planning, design, construction, and testing & commissioning activities of transit/rail systems infrastructure

Lead the activities of our systems program management team, including the activities of support functions, to co-ordinate, facilitate and consolidate the work for the integrated Transit / Rail project teams with the work of other major network projects sufficient to meet the requirements of the Safety Accreditation processes for our clients projects.

Work with representatives of the various rail operators and other stakeholders to manage the clarification, development, documentation and reporting of the technical and program interface deliverables across multiple disciplines.

Establishment and implementation of clear management plans and approaches to support the adoption of Systems Engineering practices, and controls across all our clients Work Projects.

Foster and drive an integrated approach to the design, construction and commission planning across the team and external inter-dependent projects.

Strong understanding of Federal Railroad Administration requirements for project implementation

Serve as deputy systems lead for NY Metro Area supporting the management of the systems group

Minimum Requirements

Bachelor's Degree in Electrical, Information Systems, or other relevant Engineering Discipline +12 years of related experience or demonstrated equivalency of experience and/or education

Valid Drivers License

Preferred Qualifications

Master's Degree in Engineering (Electrical, Information Systems, or other relevant discipline)

Professional Engineer license

Concentrated in systems integration/engineering
