Job Summary
AECOM is seeking an Environmental Technician to be based in Billings, MT that are highly motivated, resourceful, results-oriented, and decisive. Minimum Requirements:
The responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to:
Collect soil, water, and vapor samples using approved sampling plans and industry-accepted methods. Document work with detailed field notes.
Remediation system operations
Healthy and safety
Read, understand, and follow published test methods and standard operating procedures, including company and client specific programs
Produce accurate and complete documentation of operation, inspections and compliance
Show initiative in maintaining and repairing equipment, ordering and organizing supplies and maintaining work area
Effectively communicate with site representatives regarding schedules and task requirements
Coordination with and oversight from task and project managers, on-site subcontractors, and field staff
Perform other tasks assigned by project and task managers
Support assessment and remediation at other client facilities under direction of staff as necessary
