Job Summary

AECOM is seeking a Construction Manager (Marine) to be based in New York, NY.

Provide on-site construction oversight on waterfront Marine Projects.

About DCS—Program and Project Management

As an industry leader in program and construction management, we partner with clients to support projects from concept to completion. From education, healthcare, transportation, and water facilities to sports, leisure, cultural arts, and other public gathering venues, we deliver on the promise of protecting our clients’ interests as our own and building partnerships with the communities we serve.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to the following:

  • Responsible for Client relationship

  • Willing to travel to various Metro offices and job sites

  • Manages project staff

  • Manages ePM

  • Manages Budgets & Coordinates with Project Accountant

  • Attends project meetings

  • Schedules and coordinates between AECOM; client; subconsultant and subcontractor team

  • Develop Bid Packages including contracts

  • Reviews subcontracts

  • Responsible for overall project scheduling

  • Negotiates and completes change orders

  • Submits Change Orders and Approval Letters

  • Responsible for MWBE participation???????

Minimum Requirements

  • BA/BS degree and 4 years of related experience or demonstrated equivalency of experience and/or education

  • Marine related work experience

Preferred Qualifications

  • Two (2) or more years of related marine work experience
