Currently, ManTech is seeking a motivated, career and customer-oriented Engineer to join our team in the Lexington Park, MD.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
Provide technical expertise to perform R&D, modeling and simulation, logistics analysis, engineering analysis and engineering investigations and studies to support the PMA-231 program office.
Perform reliability analyses, risk analyses, component improvement and support life-cycle management programs to ensure fully integrated and affordable system readiness.
Provide technical direction and advice to the integrated program teams at all stages of aircraft development and life-cycle phases.
Develop and apply disciplined methods and processes that implement engineering concepts in accordance with the established standards.
Perform design analyses and calculations for electrical related aviation projects and prepare final solution recommendations.
BS in an Electrical/Systems Engineering field
Knowledge of and practical experience with technical drawings in accordance with industry standards
Practical experience with computer aided design applications and functions
Knowledge and practical implementation of systems engineering process with focus on model-based systems engineering methods
Serve as technical advisor to other junior engineers on complex engineering problems
Experience with PMA readiness initiatives and degrader analyses
Experience with Root Cause Analysis and Failure Mode, Effects & Criticality Analysis
Experience with Microsoft Office Suite to include MS Project
Security Clearance Requirements:
Minimum eligibility for DoD Secret Clearance. Preference is current approved clearance.
Must be able to remain in a stationary position 50% (primarily desk work).
Must have the ability to travel occasionally, likely 2-3 times per year.
The person in this position needs to occasionally move about inside the office to access file cabinets, office machinery, etc.
Constantly operates a computer and other office productivity machinery, such as a calculator, copy machine and computer printer.
