Currently, ManTech is seeking a motivated, career and customer-oriented Cyber Security Analyst to join our team in Orlando, Florida.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Providing security support in design and implementation of cyber and network security controls.
  • Performing security scans on newly developed systems and applications.
  • Working with Chief Architect and other Lead Engineers to develop new emerging platform enhancements.
  • Automating and maintaining of playbooks for daily security and compliance checks.
  • Reviewing systems security, stability and usability to implement technics to improve all three areas. 

Basic Qualifications:

  • Minimum Education: B.S. or equivalent experience in related field
  • Minimum/General Experience: 8 years of related experience
  • Experience working within a Cybersecurity Operations Center environment desired
  • Experience with COTS technologies used in a Cybersecurity Engineering environment desired
  • CNVP CompTIA Network Vulnerability Assessment Professional certification required
  • IAT Level III (CISSP and CCNA or CCDA) certification required
  • Proficient in Linux operating system.
  • Proficient in security control assessments against the NIST 800-53 Rev. 4 Risk Management Framework (RMF).
  • Working knowledge of database and operating system security.
  • Demonstrate the ability to implement automation in support of Cyber Security.
  • Understanding of latest security principles, techniques, and protocols.
  • Ability to function in an Agile environment and effectively manage multiple tasks simultaneously and ensuring scheduled goals are met.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills are required.
  • Ability to make decisions and resolve problems effectively – Seek out information and data to evaluate, prioritize and formulate best solution or practice.
  • Must be able to multi-task, work independently and as part of a team, share workloads, and deal with sudden shifts in project priorities.

Security Clearance Requirements:

  • Must be able to obtain and maintain a TS/SCI clearance.

Physical Requirements:

  • Must be able to remain in a stationary position 50% of the time
  • Constantly operates a computer and teleconference equipment and applications.
  • The person in this position frequently communicates with co-workers, management and customers, which may involve delivering presentations.
