ManTech is seeking a Document Support Specialist, Deliverables Management to support critical MHS information technology infrastructure operations, on behalf of DAD IO/J-6, by providing accurate, consistent, professional completion of deliverables, including required submission timeframes, approvals, rejections, revisions, and all other actions related to successful completion of documentation and deliverables.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: 

  • Provides support for curating and life cycle management of documentation in various repositories and coordinates efforts with technical personnel for the publication of information into those repositories. 

  • Works closely with the technical editor, technical writers, or authors to ensure repository publication processes are followed. 

  • Maintains and continuously evaluates current document library processes and standards with trending industry best practices. 

  • Oversees the document control policy system, working closely with technical writing, document control implementation and configuration management staff. 

  • Develop and present document control training sessions.

Basic Qualifications: 

  • Bachelor's Degree with a minimum of four (4) years of progressive experience demonstrating the required proficiencies as outlined in responsibilities section of this posting.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Prior experience in information technology organizations

  • Knowledge of and experience with the Military Health System (MHS)

Security Clearance Requirements:

  • Secret Security Clearance required

  • A suitable Tier II background investigation may be utilized in lieu of the full clearance required.

Physical Requirements:

  • Must be able to remain stationary up to 75% of the time in an office environment

  • Must be able to traverse between one work location to another to accomplish work duties

  • Must be able to operate IT equipment such as a computer, copier, fax machine, etc.

  • Must be able to communicate effectively with management and co-workers to exchange information accurately.

  • Must be able to read, review and effectively respond to electronic as well as verbal communications.
