Copier Multi-Function Device Service Technician, Shipboard Rider - Military veterans preferred

Trident EP is seeking to immediately fill multiple positions in the continental US for copier service technicians both portside and shipboard. Experience servicing copiers is preferred but not required, we will train and certify qualified candidates. These positions will require periodic shipboard deployment for possible extended periods up to 6 months. You must be willing to locate in the area of San Diego CA, Norfolk VA, Kings Bay GA, Mayport FL, Bremerton WA, Puget Sound WA, Seattle WA, or Pearl Harbor HI. Positions are also available outside the U.S. at Sasebo Japan, Yokosuka Japan, Manama Bahrain, and Rota Spain.

Basic Requirements
- Must be a U.S. Citizen with a valid U.S. Passport
- Must be able to obtain and maintain a Common Access Card (CAC)
- Possess a valid State Motor Vehicle Operator License.
- High School Diploma or GED
- Associates Degree in a related technical discipline, or the equivalent combination of education, technical training or
work experience with 1-3 year of related experience fabricating, maintaining and repairing electronic components.
- Candidate must be able obtain access to Naval Facilities and local shipyards.
- Must hold Secret Clearance (Interim accepted).

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Perform the full range of maintenance a repair on shipboard printers and copiers including on-site troubleshooting,
installation, moves, removal, retrofit, preventative maintenance activities, and customer call assistance.
- Document and track material usage, inventory of equipment, spares management, maintains upgrades and/or replaces
hardware and software in systems.
- Perform printer/copier operator support as required
- Must be able to work out at sea for extended periods, approximately 3 to 9 months at a time.
- Network + certification preferred (exceptions apply for qualified Veterans)
- Field experience as a technician working with business technology such as PCs, network connected printers and
networked FAX equipment preferred.
- PC skills are required for this position.
- Must be able to read, understand, interpret technical material and apply procedures/instructions.
- Must have excellent writing and communication skills, and strong verbal and interpersonal skills. Daily interaction with
government customers will be required.
- Strong military background with deployment experience preferred.
- Applicants must have the ability to lift and move equipment up to 55 pounds, traverse shipboard ladders, squat, kneel
and stand for extended periods.
