AECOM is searching for candidates that have the ability to be a role model, be client-focused, be impactful and be decisive. In this role, technical new hires are eligible to participate in AECOM’s Graduate Development Program (GDP), a 2-year development experience designed to support assimilation into the organization, help with technical development planning toward licensure (or other early technical milestones), and with creating a foundation of knowledge necessary for future career success.
Duties and Responsibilities
Prepares the planning and design documents for civil and environmental engineering projects under supervision of a professional engineer, project manager or senior-level team member using engineering design software and equipment
Effectively uses reports, maps, drawings, engineering plans, tests, and aerial photographs to assess soil composition, terrain, hydrological characteristics, and topographical and geologic data to plan and design projects
Coordinates and performs field inspection services, as needed
Writes and/or reviews draft reports, including erosion and sediment control narratives, stormwater management reports, and technical specifications
Performs work in accordance with agreed upon budget and schedule with little supervision

B.S. in Civil Engineering
Valid U.S. Driver's License
Ability to perform field work without restrictions.
Engineer-In-Training (EIT) or Fundamentals of Engineering (FE) certification
Knowledge of AutoCAD/Civil 3D
Knowledge of HydroCAD
