Storeroom Attendant

Dallas Country Club is currently seeking a qualified individual for a Storeroom Attendant. DCC, founded in 1896, is the most exclusive and prestigious private club in the area and we pride ourselves on hiring the best of the best. If you consider yourself the best of the best please apply.

This position assists with placing and receiving orders through vendors as well as the receipt and issuance of food store room. Responsibilities include assisting with the managing of receipt, check-in, and issuance of food and controllable goods of the Club. The storeroom attendant is responsible for the maintaining the cleanliness, safety and sanitation of the storeroom areas.

Job Requirements:

High school diploma
Must have Food and Beverage experience.
Solid understanding of hospitality organizational operations.
Basic math and computer skills
Ability to frequently lift up to 50 pounds and occasionally lift up to 75 pounds with assistance.
Ability to work in extreme temperature changes and noise
Ability to regularly stand, bend, lift, and move intermittently during shifts of 8 hours.
Key Job Elements:

Checks supplies into the storeroom when delivered
Monitor storeroom inventories and assists in ordering goods.
Places orders daily through listed vendors.
Ensures that order quantities are accurate in the inventory database when received
Monitors purchase orders to assure that deliveries are correct and complete
Enters inventory items information into the inventory system with item numbers and the storage location
Counts, weighs, and/or marks articles with identifying codes, figures or letters as required to maintain FIFO inventory system.
Receives hazardous chemicals and delivers them to users in original containers.
Processes approved purchase requisitions/department requisitions
Assists with inventory counts
Keeps walk-in, freezer and storeroom areas organized, clean and in proper repair and condition Rotates Stock
Transports food, beverages, supplies and other items to areas as necessary
Assures that all storage areas are locked according to club policies
Dates and properly dispositions all incoming products/orders
Maintains a safe and sanitary environment through active enforcement of proper safety policies and for assuring that all aspects of culinary department operations meet the standards set by the Administration and local Health Department
Completes other assignments as assigned by management
