AECOM is currently seeking a Traffic Management Engineer to be based in Milwaukee, Wisconsin.
This position is expected to start September 2021.

The responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to:
Review and support of control room activities for traffic management strategies and ITS usage for planned and unplanned events.
Review and support control room activities for nightly work zone lane closures by assisting with DMS usage.
Assist with control room Standard Operating Procedure (SOP) review and development.
Assist with travel time configuration and quality reviews for DMS, PCMS and 511.
Assist with special event coordination for traffic operations, utilizing ATMS and 511.
Coordinate PCMS usage between regional offices and the control room for special events, attend quarterly PCMS coordination meetings, and assist in ATMS configuration and documentation.
Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering
Must have valid driver’s license
Due to nature of work citizenship is required
Previous background, education and/or experience in traffic operations or ITS
Previous background and/or experience with public communications, social media
Excellent time management skills and attention to detail
Strong written and verbal communication skills with a customer service focus
Ability to utilize skills such as proactive monitoring and situational awareness
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
