Job Summary

AECOM Chile is in need of a Construction Project Manager to lead a major industrial technology construction project in Santiago, Chile.

Primary functions include but are not limited to the following:

  • The Construction Project Manager will serve as the Owner’s Rep (OR) will act on behalf of the Owner to become a virtual extension of the Owner’s Project Team and will establish an immediate and close relationship with the Owner to gain a complete understanding of the Owner’s Project requirements, goals and constraints, and general business objectives.

  • OR will bring “best practice” and innovative experience to this Project that will facilitate the delivery of efficiencies in terms of design, construction, and operational transition process.

  • OR will comply with the Owner’s standards for quality, optimal cost structure, and on-time delivery, and implement these standards into the overall framework of the Project.

  • OR will act as an extension of Owner’s centralized internal and managed service model controls teams to assist in maintaining project level schedule and cost controls and reporting in line with Owner’s requirements. OR is expected to help enforce policy, gather information, and troubleshooting.

  • OR will manage the Commissioning Agent (CxA), QA OR team, and on-site Owner technical inspectors. Support management as well as oversight CxA and QA resources. Monitor resource plans to ensure proper stasite for CxA and QA resources. Manage CxA & QA onboarding through Smawell as access to the AODocs and Windchill.

  • OR will ensure the CxA deliverables are completed on time and correctly. Track project submission with the GC and Subcontractors in developing coordinated documentation formats, including providing prefunctional checklists to be completed during the functional subcontractors review and accept the procedures for implementation.

Minimum Requirements

  • University degree in Electrical, Mechanical, Industrial or Civil Engineer

  • Minimum (6) years in a similar role on a major industrial technology project

Preferred Qualifications

  • Eight (8) years total years experience in construction and engineering field

  • Six (6) years of experience in Project Management

  • Fluent in Spanish and English
