Job Summary

AECOM is seeking a Project Engineer to be based in Arlington, VA.

Responsibilities:

  • Provides construction and technical support to project manager and quality assurance team.

  • Must have knowledge and understanding of contract documents including drawings, specifications, and technical reports.

  • Supports field and documentation activities related to pre-commissioning and system readiness

  • Prepares daily reports, assists with RFIs and submittal reviews, and maintains documentation logs.

  • Assists management team with payment applications and schedules reviews.

  • Contributes to the quality assurance process, verifies as-built documents and conditions.

  • Review Contractor's BIM Model for compliance with Client BIM Standards and As-Built Conditions.

  • Must be self-motivated, have strong written and verbal communication skills, and be able to work in a proactive team environment.

  • Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, document control software such as Prolog, navigating electronic files for specifications and drawings, completing daily reports, and maintaining daily project records.

  • Requires the ability to support off-hour inspections including nights and weekends.
