Our Urbanism & Planning team in Melbourne are currently looking for an Urban Designer to work across diverse project portfolio within a multi-disciplinary environment.
AECOM is looking for an enthusiastic Urban Designer to join the Urbanism + Planning team, a progressive group of landscape architects, planners and urban designers that work collaboratively and across disciplines within the Melbourne office and as part of a national team delivering city-shaping projects.
As part of the team you will contribute to a design studio environment, where you can develop confidence in your skills, and where you will be valued and rewarded for your creativity, collaboration and innovation. In this role you will be given the opportunity to develop integrated urban design concepts for a range of projects, urban design frameworks, and guidelines for major development, precincts, infrastructure and other large-scale projects. You will help build positive client relationships and work with our development, government and infrastructure clients to design and deliver great places. ?
Tertiary degree in Urban Planning, Urban Design, Architecture, Landscape Architecture or similar
Proven experience in supporting and/orleading Urban design packages;
Demonstrable experience in working with State or Federal Government clients/projects;
Be able to produce written and illustrative documentation that is of a high standard and in accordance with AECOM and/ or Project?standard formats
Proficiently use Adobe Creative Suite, MS Office and AutoCAD 3D modelling (Rhino/Sketch Up/Revit) programs
Ability to communicate effectively and positively with a broad range of clients, stakeholders and project partners
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite products.
