The Digital Consultant will deliver commissions for our clients across the built environment with a particular focus on digital transformation.
At a programme and project level implementing digital engineering solutions including:
building information modelling (BIM) creating strategies, and managing processes for clients including model co-ordination, reporting on model development and quality assurance processes
delivery of digital programme control commissions (4D and 5D workflows – time and cost optimization),
Information Management (using ISO 19650) including information standards and information delivery planning
With regards to retained estate:
Digital asset management, including establishing asset information model (AIM) CDE linking BIM to asset information systems e.g. CAFM and asset registers
Delivery of strategic advisory commissions
Facilitation of client workshops in relation to digital journey planning, maturity measurement, digital discovery & transformation rethinking
Creation of client change programmes including value proposition definition and return on investment studies
Technical project management of client digital change programmes
Connecting with Work Winning community and CAM’s on consultancy leads and tender opportunities and supporting wider strategic bids
Supporting pre-qualification, tender responses and proposals
Supporting client pitches and showcasing of digital offerings
Engaging with clients on direct awards
Promoting the service offerings internally
Creating and showcasing case studies
Commoditizing consultancy deliverables as repeatable offerings
Lessons learned – feeding knowledge from commissions back into the business to support future growth and opportunities
Previous experience in architecture / engineering services delivery or digital solution delivery
Degree in Architecture, Engineering or Information Management
Demonstrated experience in work winning (for digital or technology practices, digital solutions)
Demonstrated collaborative influencing skills
Demonstrated ability to support delivery of strategic consultancy commissions
Demonstrated experience in related technology application
Excellent interpersonal and stakeholder management skill
Knowledge of commercial workflows
Experience working in regional teams
Expert level in Autodesk tools including BIM360 and or Bentley
Expert level in 4D and 5D digital tools
Advanced skills in Microsoft PowerBI and Power Platforms
Self-starter with the ability to work as a positive, energized and adaptable team member
Flexible with work times to align with colleagues in different time zones
Highly developed written and oral communication skills, including the ability to present ideas and influence potential customers and senior leaders.
Excellent relationship building skills.
Demonstrated ability to implement ideas/programs/solutions
Excellent organizational and time management skills, able to work under pressure and prioritize effectively
Able to demonstrate passion, energy and drive..
Masters in Architecture, Engineering or Information Management
Membership of a professional AEC institute..
