Due to strong growth and a developing project portfolio AECOM Netherlands are currently hiring a Project Manager Construction Services for technical due diligence and delivery of projects within real estate and commercial buildings sector.
As a Project Manager you deliver all the stages of project development; delivery and close out, for example, scoping visits; design reviews; post tender meetings; cost plan reviews; pre-start meetings; regular site progress meetings; high quality handovers; financial close meetings; and safety audits.
Key duties include:
Responsible for the operational delivery of the project
Delivering end-to-end project services within programme deadlines with a set of clear performance indicators.
Showing a strong track record in operational delivery of HSSE processes and communication because HSSE is the most important of the KPI’s.
Making sure there is a strong interaction with the Client Team to maintain seamless communications and client confidence on all project delivery progress.
Showing strong management and leadership skills to motivate contractors and colleagues and providing excellence in execution to cope with the fast moving and extremely demanding programme.
Managing the delivery of client and AECOM HSSE requirements.
Managing the delivery of projects to the programme and within agreed budget and to approved time and cost
Delivering savings on build projects and Programme where appropriate.
Engineering degree in Architecture, Civil Engineering, Building Engineering or in a similar field.
Minimum 5 years’ experience in an operational role.
Fluent Dutch and English language skills are required.
A leading example in compliance and ethics.
Confident and capable individual with strong client focus.
Recognized construction or design qualification (or similar experience).
Experienced in managing a diverse operational team.
Strong track record in delivering projects in a fast moving and challenging environment.
Ability to work under pressure to tight dead-lines.
Good grasp of IT, particularly Excel and Word.
Full Driving Licence.
