SAIC is seeking a Technical Documentation and Briefing Support Analyst with an active TS/SCI to provide on-site support as part of contract team with the Office of the Secretary of Defense (OSD), Strategic Capabilities Office (OSD/SCO). The successful candidate will support all activities involved with the production of briefings, reports and with the preparation of communications documents. 

Daily activities may include:

  • Providing personnel, equipment and software capable of preparing reports, graphic presentations, scanning documents, and faxing documents.
  • Preparation of drafts for test plans, technical review briefings, industry day/workshop presentations, concepts of employment and operation, and other briefings/presentations for internal and external use.
  • Coordination with office leadership regarding briefings to outside agencies.
  • Provide research, writing, editing, drafting, creation of graphics, production, and technical coordination to create, maintain, and update definitive documentation for efforts as required by SCO management and Program Managers.
  • This will include creating, maintaining and archiving viewgraphs, animations/movies, speeches, white papers, videotapes or other media.
  • In addition, this may include creating and maintaining bibliographic and abstract databases, and technical documentation libraries.
  • Support the planning and management of single or multiple projects and support senior program managers in tracking performance including cost, schedule, deliverables and contractual compliance. Ensures management goals and standards are successfully implemented.
  • Assist business operations to enhance overall office productivity and decision support. 
  • Track, integrate and report on strategic documents and initiatives and activities with knowledge management tools and processes.
  • Provide knowledge management general support to the Office through SharePoint consultation and development.
  • Team with the Knowledge Management Analyst/Developer to establish and review current “as is” organizational operations/transactional processes and identify areas that need refinement to improve effectiveness and promote efficiencies (‘to be”)
  • Draw out, capture and categorize business operations information by communications with SCO stakeholders.
  • Provide ad-hoc SharePoint support and grant SharePoint access and permissions.
  • Respond to requests for assistance in troubleshooting issues SCO employees encounter when utilizing SharePoint tools on both NIPR and SIPR.
  • Participate in meetings with the Director of Security, Director of Strategic Outreach, Prime Contract Program Manager, and front office personnel to provide knowledge management support.
  • Grant SharePoint Access for sites hosted on both JSP and Intelink to new hires




  • A minimum of four (4) years of recent and relevant multimedia, knowledge management and technical support experience with a Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university.
  • Highly organized and able to develop documents in all media. 
  • Proficient in software packages to include Microsoft PowerPoint, Project, Excel and/or other equivalent tools.
  • Excellent communication skills, ability to work in a team environment, and be independently motivated.
  • Experience working with senior government officials while exhibiting analytic, research, and technical skills.
  • Knowledge and understanding of the DoD and the Military Departments


  • Experience working with DoD, Joint Staff, the Military Departments, Service Program/Project Offices.
  • Knowledge in out-of-the box and custom SharePoint capabilities to cater to large volume of documents and activities.
  • Familiarity with Office 365
