AECOM is hiring a HVAC Technician Journeyman to join our Imperial Oil Kearl plant maintenance team on site near Fort McKay, Alberta. This is a Full-time position on a 14/14 shift rotation.
HVAC Technicians will be expected to do but are not limited to the following tasks:
Maintenance work involving checking all parts of a system, lubricating moving parts and monitoring the refrigerant charge
Diagnosing and fixing unit problems by replacing or repairing controls, electric wiring or other parts
Repairing heating equipment, troubleshoot gas-fired equipment and calibrate all gas-related controls
Responsible for delivery of excellent customer service and sustaining high levels of customer satisfaction

In order to be valid, the test must have been conducted at the direction of AECOM - O&G Business Unit.
Certified Red Seal/Alberta Journeyman Refrigeration and Air Conditioning Mechanic
Construction Safety Training Systems (CSTS-09 or 2020) Certification OR Common Safety Orientation (CSO)
First Aid - Standard Level Certification
HVAC diagnostic experience
Ability to do troubleshooting
Reading and interpreting drawings and blueprints
Experience using testing equipment
Experience doing Startups of new or adjusted equipment
