AECOM is seeking a highly talented and hardworking Entry Level Civil Engineer to be based in Columbia, South Carolina or open to Greenville SC, North Charleston, SC.
This position is expected to begin in October 2021.

Responsibilities include the following:
Assisting traffic engineers and project managers on projects related to traffic capacity analysis, feasibility studies, traffic modeling, signal design, signal timing, signal systems, ITS, traffic operations, safety analysis, pavement management, traffic impact analysis, traffic calming, railroad corridor safety studies, and other related traffic engineering work
Working in a team as well as independently
Any other duties assigned
ABET Accredited Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or related field
Driver’s license required
Relevant work experience is a plus
Basic knowledge of PCs and Microsoft Office products including Word and Excel
Prior experience with Synchro and HCS
Experience preparing traffic studies and signal plans
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to interact with the client in a professional manner
Excellent organizational and analytical skills
Experience and knowledge of Traffic capacity analysis, Traffic impact studies, Operational simulation analysis, Traffic Signal Design, Timing Plans, Safety Audits and Reports, Geometric design, and construction documents.
Experience with the following software: Synchro, HCS, AutoCAD, MicroStation
