Currently, ManTech is seeking a motivated, career and customer-oriented Logistics Analyst to join our team in Warrenton, VA.
As a Logistics Analyst, you will be responsible for contributing across a variety of logistics related disciplines. You will be expected to provide expertise in equipment accountability in accordance with Department of Defense procedures as well as demonstrate hands-on skills and abilities on a regular basis. The Logistics Analyst will integrate within teams of divergent skillsets in performing discrete tasks and projects within the National Capital Region, as well as potentially throughout the United States and overseas.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
Processing equipment transfers, turn-in, and other property accountability procedures across a large portfolio.
Conducting property inventory of all government furnished equipment and assigned property supporting various efforts
Generating property accountability supporting documents (DD Forms 1149, DD Form 1150, DD Form 1348, etc).
Conducting hard drive/media sanitization and generate turn-in documents to the classified material conversion facility.
Assisting in the maintenance and management of assigned GSA vehicles
Analyzing contractual commitments, customer specifications, and related information to identify and document maintenance and support requirements.
Reviewing engineering designs and analyzing equipment characteristics.
Developing and preparing manuals, bulletins, and information systems to provide logistics support.
Performing equipment delivery and property transfers between government entities.
Providing recommendations with regards to best practices and develops new
processes to increase performance and efficiency.
Logistics experience supporting the US Government
Ability to drive a truck up to 24 feet in length.
to locations within the US and overseas
Ability to travel 25-50% within the National Capital Region and occasional trips.
Security Clearance Requirements:
Must have an active TS/SCI clearance
Ability to lift up to 50 pounds of force occasionally, and/or up to 20 pounds of force frequently, and/or up to 10 pounds of force constantly to move objects.
Position oneself to move objects from a lower to a higher location or moving objects horizontally from position to-position (computer equipment such as PC, Servers, Routers, Printers and Digital Senders). This factor is important if it occurs to a considerable degree and requires the substantial use of the upper extremities and back muscles.
Move a cart or dolly using upper extremities to exert force in order to draw, drag, haul or tug objects in a sustained motion.
There is sufficient noise to cause the worker to shout in order to be heard above the ambient noise level.
Have close visual acuity to perform an activity such as: preparing and analyzing data and figures; transcribing; viewing a computer terminal; extensive reading; visual inspection involving small defects, small parts, and/or operation of machines (including inspection); using measurement devices; and/or assembly or fabrication of parts at distances close to the eyes.
