Summary:
The Tier 2 Total Rewards Associate will provide analytical and technical support to the Total Rewards function and coordinate the implementation of leave and benefits programs. S/he will perform inquiry management/resolution, transaction processing, program execution, and general customer service to all SCJ employees in the North America region.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Manage all NA leave types (FMLA, Short-Term Disability, Long-Term Disability) end to end by state/country, and/or business unit
Advise managers, employees, and HR stakeholders on the interaction of leave laws with paid time off, as well as short-term and long-term disability benefits
Determine leave eligibility to designate leave as FMLA-qualifying, request medical certification as needed, and account for intermittent FMLA usage
Support other various Total Rewards programs of the assigned region, including benefits, retirement, and compensation
Provides technical and consultative assistance to HR stakeholders regarding all total rewards programs
Participate in the communication and implementation of various components of total rewards programs
Resolve HR process and policy questions related to Leave, Benefits, Retirement, and/or Vendor Management through multiple communication channels
Leverage knowledge management solutions to complete inquiries and transactions
Work to meet expected service levels and business performance goals
Escalate client service issues to appropriate party as appropriate 
Document all cases in case management system
Ensure consistent application of HR policies and state, federal, and / or country laws and practices
Provide input to the MyHR Delivery Center knowledgebase and contributes ideas to improve processes or performance
Support change programs and initiatives
Participate in scheduled and ad hoc training to improve HR functional knowledge and business acumen
Support colleague engagement and cultural programs and initiatives
Perform special projects and related duties, as assigned

Required Skills / Experience / Competencies:
Bachelor’s degree in business, HR, or related discipline required

Preferred Skills / Experience / Competencies:
2+ years Total Rewards experience, HR Shared Services background preferred
Knowledge of leading practices, external trends, principles, and methods in Total Rewards including leave management, global mobility, compensation, retirement benefits, pay, and HR systems
Strong analytical skills as well as the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities and operate efficiently under continuous change
Proficient with Microsoft Office software (Excel) and ideally having worked with multiple technologies (e.g. HRIS System, Workday, SAP)
Strong drive for results, accuracy, and control compliance
Excellent financial / business acumen and analytical abilities
The ability to use initiative and be proactive in anticipating problems which may occur
Ability to handle sensitive situations and maintain a high level of confidentiality
Skilled in developing professional relationships with colleagues, supervisors, and peers
High degree of process orientation and improvement mindset
Above average communications skills and customer service orientation

Job Requirements:
Full time employment
Work Hours: 7:30AM or 8:00AM to 4:30PM or 5:00PM (Mondays to Fridays)
Shifting work schedule might be required depending on the critical deliverables and the urgent requirements of countries supported
