Currently, ManTech is seeking a motivated, career and customer-oriented Applications Systems Analyst to join our team for

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Perform daily duties of backups, maintenance on applications and OS, patching, tuning and troubleshooting.

  • Configure system based on requested changes. Follow CM process to effectively manage environment changes.

  • Provide necessary instruction and documentation for change requests, installing operating systems, loading (installing) COTS products, and configuring operating systems and COTS products.

  • Be knowledgeable of tracking and analyzing performance and resource utilization of the assigned systems,

  • Recommend changes, upgrades, and enhancements based on the technical analysis.

  • Experience working with Administration of Splunk, Arcsight, and other SIEM and log collection products. 

  • Certifications in operating systems and other COTS products are desired

  • No supervisory responsibilities, accountable for own contribution.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree Engineering, Computer Science or related field preferred and five or more years of experience in installing operating systems, loading (installing) COTS products, and configuring operating systems and COTS products

  • Requires conceptual knowledge of practices and procedures within a particular area of expertise

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Prefer operational experience in supporting applications such as PEGA, Kafka, hazelcast, Informatica Identity Resolution, Red Hat JWS Tomcat, and/or Tableau.

  • Scripting with Bash and Python

Security Clearance Requirements:

  • No clearance required to start.

  • Applicants must be a U.S. Citizen and may go through a government background check.

Physical Requirements:

  • Must be able to remain in a stationary position 50%.

  • Needs to occasionally move about inside the office to access file cabinets, office machinery, etc.

  • Constantly operates a computer and other office productivity machinery, such as a calculator, copy machine and computer printer.

  • Often positions self to maintain computers in the lab, including under the desks and in the server closet.

  • Frequently communicates with co-workers, management and customers, which may involve delivering presentations. Must be able to exchange accurate information in these situations.

    The projected compensation range for this position is $74,800-$124,400. There are differentiating factors that can impact a final salary/hourly rate, including, but not limited to, Contract Wage Determination, relevant work experience, skills and competencies that align to the specified role, geographic location (For Remote Opportunities), education and certifications as well as Federal Government Contract Labor categories. In addition, ManTech invests in it’s employees beyond just compensation.
