AECOM requires a senior Project Controls Specialist to coordinate and lead cost control, schedule, programming, and Quality Assurance efforts on major infrastructure projects. The position will report to program management as part of the Lima based office team. The successful applicant will be in charge of developing, reviewing and coordinating reports and schedule updates, forecasts, estimations, monthly reports, etc., in addition to being the liaison with the client.
Successful applicant must have excellent communication and analytical skills, and be creative, resourceful and be able to work on their own initiative. Training and supervision in AECOM systems will be provided by LATAM personnel.
Main responsibilities will include (but not be limited to):
Develop Engineering and Construction Budgets and Schedule
Execute Costs and Program Control CPI, SPI, O/I, E&L, Forecasts.
Review and advise on Cost Execution
Develop Reports, Forecasts, and Estimations.
Collect and Update Project Costs and raise flags when required.
Review and Validate Budgets and Schedules developed by Third Parties.
Maintain up-to-date project schedule
Coordinate directly with the client and support staff
Implement quality management policies and undertake audits
University qualification in engineering or architecture
Minimum 8 years’ experience in similar roles
Advanced user of P6 Primavera with proof of training by Oracle or other authorised company
Experience in developing WBS, resource assignment, baseline, S curve, earned value, KPIs, Calendars, Investment Flows, Quantity Histograms, Reports, etc.
Advanced MS Project and MS Excel user
Advanced level Spanish and English
Experience in aviation and / or construction projects
Minimum intermediate level AutoCad
Background in implementation of Quality Assurance
