The position is an end user support role primarily responsible for computer configuration, deployment and troubleshooting of computer equipment for Black Box employees in a Windows networked environment.

This is an on-site position based at our office in Lawrence, PA which sits between Bridgeville and Canonsburg, PA of the south hills of Pittsburgh.


Associates degree in computer science or other technical discipline strongly preferred, or equivalent, relevant experience
1-3 years relevant work experience
2 years of experience with PC/network environment
Experience with Windows imaging and workstation deployments
Extensive experience with Win7/10 OS â?? Control panel, System settings, networking, device manager
Working knowledge of Office, AD, AnyConnect, WebEx, Jabber, Encryption, AV, Citrix, VPN and Wi-Fi
Experience with Altiris, scripting and PowerShell a plus
Comfortable working independently in a fast paced office setting while supporting a wide variety of job roles
Proficient in time-management and the ability to multitask and prioritize assigned duties
Exhibit professional attitude and appearance with excellent verbal, interpersonal and communication skills
Self-motivated, enthusiastic, solid problem solving skills, detail oriented, willing to learn and a desire to succeed
Job Responsibilities:

Configure, test and deploy hardware and software to users both locally and remotely
Collect, test, refurbish and track desktop and laptop computers
Perform local and remote end user support on Windows 10 computers
Create, monitor, update, and close tickets using Service Now ticketing system
Respond to management requests and service issues in a timely and professional manner
Adhere to Black Box corporate, technology and security policies at all times while performing daily functions
