The primary role of the regional demand planning COE is to develop demand planning capabilities within the regions. This Associate Manager role will work with the global team to continue to move the community forward with enhanced processes and system use, being the voice of the region during development and rollout.
This role will also lead the onboarding process and serve as first point of contact as Super User for Demand Planning systems.
The Regional Demand Planning COE associate manager role is also critical in providing governance and guidance for proper execution and interaction of demand planning within the S&OP process., and will serve as Demand Planning Liaison in the Sales Operations forum.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Champion global processes within the region by training and identifying capability gaps through process metrics and skill matrices.
Play the role of Super User for all the systems used in Demand Planning.
Be guardian of all best practices of Demand Planning are in place in the area.
Define and lead Demand Planning onboarding training for the team, training and coaching others on the team.
Build and enhance next stages of demand planning in the maturity journey with the Global COE.
Build enhancements for process or system gaps found within the region to bring to the full Demand Planning COE team.
Lead Demand Planning projects and initiatives that are across the region.
Act as first line of trouble shooting system issues escalated from end users.
Serve as process owner and expert for Sales TPM integration with demand planning processes including reporting, troubleshooting, and continuous improvement.
Required Skills / Experience / Competencies:
Bachelors Degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, Economic, Engineering, or Related Field
Minimum of 5 of Supply Chain or business experience with demonstrated results working in a team-based, cross functional environment
Minimum of 2 years Demand Planning experience
Minimum of 2 working in ERP systems , (SAP or other).
Minimum of 5 of advanced experience in Excel and Access
Preferred Skills / Experience / Competencies:
SAP experience preferred
Strongly preferred experience in Tableau.
Experience with S&OP or IBP processes preferred
Strong communication skills, with a proven ability to understand key concepts and communicate with business stakeholders.
Strong training and coaching skills.
Strong project management and process improvement skills.
Ability to drive action and influence decision making at all levels of the organization.
Strong organizational skills, as well as the ability to perform under pressure and manage multiple priorities with competing demands.
Ability to work within high-performing teams in highly collaborative environments.
Quantitative and qualitative data analysis, including business process metrics and measures linking to business KPIs.
General knowledge of finance, sales, marketing and R&D functions.
Hands-on experience in demand planning and simulation systems or tools preferred.
