Serves as Senior Programmer/Analyst, as a member of an Analysis Team, providing support to the Center for Army Analysis (CAA). Senior Programmer/Analyst designs and conducts Army Fires (field artillery and air and missile defense) analysis using the modelling and simulation tools such as Extended Air Defense Simulation (EADSIM) and the Advanced Framework for Simulation, Integration and Modeling (AFSIM) in support of the Army’s Total Army Analysis (TAA), Strategic Portfolio Analysis Review (SPAR) and other applications. Senior Programmer/Analyst will lead and participate in discussions with operators of field artillery and air and missile defense systems and other Subject Matter Experts to help ensure valid system capability representations and quality data inputs. Senior Analyst must demonstrate initiative and flexibility to meet the needs of the HQDA’s suspense’s while maintaining modeling and simulation integrity. Senior/Programmer Analyst will develop and recommend tradeoffs in modeling decisions, weighing both the timeline of the study and the fidelity of the modeling required. Senior Programmer/Analyst will lead Team efforts in applying data mining techniques to extract proper information from the simulation results. As provided and available, Senior Programmer/Analyst will incorporate Allied capabilities in analysis. Deliverables will include M&S output reports, spreadsheets, data reduction, PowerPoint briefings, Information Papers and White Papers.
Required Skills & Experience
-MS degree in Computer Science, Math, Engineering or Economics and 10+ years of experience required.
-Experience with research, analysis, and modeling is required. Minimum of three years’ experience in support of DOD Service (Air Force, Army, Navy, USMC) modeling and simulation research and analysis.
-A SECRET security clearance is required.

-EADSIM and/or AFSIM modeling and simulation experience
-Army modeling and simulation experience
-Familiarity with Army Air and Missile Defense and/or Field Artillery functional capabilities
-MS degree with computing is desired.
