Job Summary

This role is primarily responsible for translating learning needs into high quality, best-in-class program design and learning content and working with key stakeholders in advising on training needs, best practices, system capabilities, assignments, and roll out strategy. It will also provide Learning Management System (LMS) administration, technical support, and reporting of learning programs.

  • Perform complex tasks and serve as a learning technical specialist

  • Create learning content to support global learning strategy

  • Execute the tactical setting up of global learning programs and advice on best practices

  • Manage client training initiative intake process, meet with stakeholders, and walk them through the process of leveraging client portal for their projects

  • Meet with clients when necessary and under the supervision and direction of the Project Manager

  • Assist the Project Manager with client reporting and dashboard needs

  • Provide guidance and technical expertise on creating training materials

  • Analyse different training modalities (ILT, VILT, WBT) and make recommendations for blended approaches that fit the organization’s needs

  • Develop and design training which includes building appropriate connections when training requests are made

  • Understand AECOM’s training policies and governance and provide work leadership and training for the team

  • Maintain internal catalogue library in Degreed, including the maintenance of skill plans and pathways on job family pages

  • Assist global reporting and dashboard needs

  • Work with leadership team to develop process improvement initiatives

  • May lead complex projects and work with subject matter experts, outside consultants, and vendors as required

Minimum Requirements


  • Bachelor’s degree and/or at least 7 years of relevant work experience in developing and leading training efforts with direct experience creating learning programs and facilitating leadership workshops

  • Working knowledge and understanding in facilitation, online and in-person, and customizing content

  • Experience creating reporting dashboards

  • Process management and improvement skills

  • Intermediate proficiency in MS Office tools (Word/Excel/PowerPoint/Outlook

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience working in an outsourcing, shared services, or similar model within similar function is preferred

  • Experience using systems such as Workday, SAP, PeopleSoft, Oracle, ServiceNow or other similar platforms and tools is preferred
