Help to maintain the cleanliness and safety of our tanker units.Â
Washing interior and exterior for tanker trailers.
Maintaining and repairing equipment used for washing.
Using high pressure, high temperature pressure washer.
Driving of jockey truck (on yard only).
Using hand tools and power tools occasionally (skill saw, grinder, drill, etc.).
Maintenance and repair of tools, work area, and equipment when needed.
Performs related work as required.
Any combination of education, training, and experience providing the following knowledge, skills, and abilities.
Basic knowledge of the trucking/transportation industry preferred.
Must be detail oriented, self-motivated, able to work well alone and/or in a team. Candidate needs to have excellent communication skills and be able to work flexible hours (10 hour shifts) possibly including nights and weekends.
Experience, Education, and Training
High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or six months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
This position is very physical and requires the ability to perform strenuous activity for long periods of time.
This position requires constant forward reaching, grasping and finger manipulation; also requires frequent sitting, standing, bending, kneeling, stooping, squatting, and hand control. Candidate must be able to lift and carry up to 75lbs and push and pull up to 100lbs.Â Candidate must be able to pass a job specific post-offer physicalÂ prior to beginning employment with Prime, Inc.
Both indoor and outdoor working environment with exposure to varying weather conditions and chemical odors.Â Must be able to work in a results-oriented, fast-paced environment as part of a team. PRIME's hazard assessment and equipment selection program is fully aligned with the prescribed OSHA and related regulatory requirements (as defined in 29 CFR 1910.132(d)), and all associates and applicants agree to fully comply with PRIME's hazard assessment and equipment selection guidelines, protocols, and programs at all times. All required personal protective equipment will be provided by PRIME to each associate at no cost to the associate.
Valid CDL preferred. Must have a valid driver's license and clean driving record.
