LCV Camp Atterbury: Specialist, HSE
Implements health, safety and environmental policies, procedures and guidelines for the employee and department safety. Creates incident reports and performs inspections to ensure conformity in all areas of HSE in accordance with client, federal, state, local regulations, and KBR procedures. Interacts with services personnel, clients, subcontractors, and regulatory agencies to research and interpret standards, codes, and regulations. Determines requisite for and organizes audits of company operated properties. Keeps informed of regulatory requirements and auditing standards. Assists in development and implementation of KBR values, systems and standards to facilitate the capturing and analysis of HSE statistics. Under general supervision, and occasional direct supervision, performs assignments requiring experience and knowledge of standard concepts within their field. Displays core job competencies by analyzing possible solutions using standard procedures while developing advanced skills. Skills required for this job are typically acquired through the completion of an undergraduate degree and 2+ years of experience, or HSE work experience of 4+ years in lieu of degree.
