ManTech is seeking Top Talent as a Technical Training Manager for our Air Force and Space program.

Clearance: Must have an active Secret Clearance

Location: Cape Canaveral Air Force Station, FL

The Technical Training Manager will:

  • Provide Launch System Technical Training support to SMC Enterprise Corps Launch (SMC/ECL) through the Systems Engineering & Integration (SE&I) Contract while stationed at Cape Canaveral Air Force Station, Florida.
  • This position will provide Technical Training application/management and project integration support to the U.S. Air Force Space and Missile Systems Center (SMC) and 45 Space Wing to ensure effective and secure project management, technical training, mission assurance and systems integration. 
  • Support will include, but is not limited to:  developing training and project management processes, identifying and implementing new and effective training and project management practices and policies, evaluating and integrating requirements, conducting requirements collection, determining standards and procedures for system upgrades and improvements and effectively managing technical document CM/DM, licenses and training/evaluation/project management document life-cycle phases.

Basic Qualifications:

  • HS Diploma Mandatory.  BA/BS or equivalent in Engineering, Physics, Math, Space Systems, Science or Management Desired. 
  • Minimum of 10 years of experience preferably in launch vehicle or satellite systems or related field, or equivalent experience and training or training systems/program management desired.  Technical experience and training (i.e., military technical training, vocational training, unique experience) may be substituted for degree requirements.
  • Candidate must possess extensive knowledge of launch and range systems integration, safety and environmental factors, launch systems maintenance processes and policies, quality control, launch and range operations, space and launch vehicle resource, program management and successful mission assurance practice and policy.
  • Experience an Eastern Range Instructor, Air Force Responsible Engineer or Mission Assurance Technician is highly preferred.
  • Experience in personnel certification and evaluation guidelines and unit inspection preparation is desired.
