We are looking for a Business Development Specialist to join our Eastern NC sales team. You'll be supported by a top-notch group of internal customer focused team members that will take care of the daily needs of your customers so you can focus on bringing in new business.
Essential Functions and Duties:
Research prospects, identify key players, engage and generate interest for new business opportunities within our target markets of construction contractors, architects, engineers, owners, developers, retail and education
Understand customer needs and requirements and set proper expectations to ensure each new customer is on boarded successfully
Work hand in hand with other Duncan-Parnell reps to cross sell additional products and services into new and existing accounts
Actively participate in networking events that support and contribute to Duncan-Parnell sales growth
Pursue all leads shared with you by Duncan-Parnell employees
Stay current on new trends in our focus markets and product lines
Use CRM to track activities, document prospect and account information and track the development of sales opportunities
Limited overnight travel
Strong ability to drive business with existing and new customers
Solid work ethic and ability to collaborate successfully with the Duncan Parnell team
Ability to work independently
Superior organization skills with a focus on customer details
Skills to build creative solutions for customers that differentiates our company and delivers unparalleled value to your customers.
Minimum two years sales experience desired â?? preferably in the printing or signage industry
Associates degree or higher
Work experience with Microsoft products and CRM software
Salesforce experience a plus
Local community involvement
Reliable transportation and a clean DMV record
