ManTech is seeking a Field Engineer to support our operations in North Charleston, SC.

Job Description:

Manages the flow of shipments both inbound and outbound in the manner that is most cost effective. Routes outbound delivered loads and inbound back-hauls. Utilizes logistics software. References DOT regulations on hours of service. Manages load utilization. Coordinates common carrier activities. Maintains customer database and profile by customer location. Updates information for each customer. Maintains customer delivery time windows. Maintains customer data base network system. Responsible for tracking raw materials. Manages communications associated with logistics distribution of material. Coordinates the distribution point of material for incoming and outgoing material. May supervise more junior staff. Performs other duties as assigned. Requires High School diploma or equivalent and four to five years of related experience.

Duties:

Duties of this position include, but are not limited to, coordination of Preventive Maintenance schedules, evaluation of Site Support issues, review of CIMS trouble tickets, verification of satisfactory resolution of Follow Up trouble tickets, development of requirements and requirement descriptions for new systems and system upgrades, and provision of reports of job status to Government representatives and sponsors. Must be able to travel on short notice.

  • Education: Technical Training in commercial or government fuel terminal/pipeline operations or projects to include experience with Automated Fuel Systems such as:
  • Automated Fuel Handling Equipment (AFHE)
  • Automated Tank Gauging (ATG)
  • Independent Alarm System (IAS)
  • Overfill Protection Equipment (OPE)
  • Hydrant Fueling Automation Maintenance (HFAM) system
  • Hydrant Automation Monitoring System (HAMS)
  • Electronic Leak Detection (ELD)
  • Automated Fuel Service Station (AFSS) equipment.

Specifically, must have demonstrated technical support expertise in at least five (5) of the following systems:

  • Veeder Root TLS (TLS)
  • Ronan (X76CTM)
  • ENRAF 854 Servo
  • ENRAF 818 STIC
  • Hectronic Optilevel HLS 3010HF
  • Barton 3500
  • GSI-MTG, MTS Level Plus M
  • Scully Intellitrol
  • Scully Intellicheck
  • Scully ST-15E
  • Scully ST-47
  • FuelMaster 2500 series
  • FuelMaster 3500 series

Programmable Logic Computers (PLC) such as:

  • Modicon,
  • AllenBradley GE Fanuc
  • pipeline leak detection
  • leak manager support
  • designated underground storage tank operator requirements
