Currently, ManTech is seeking a motivated, career and customer-oriented Technical writer to join our team in Colorado Springs, CO.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Researches, writes, edits, and proofreads information for use in documents such as manuals, procedures, and specifications.
  • Provides expert, timely editing support for reports, proposals, articles, and other documents.
  • Develops clear-written materials for various constituents, such as operations, technical manuals, tutorials, specifications and help systems
  • Interviews staff to collect information and specifications
  • Collects and organizes information and coordinates layout for publication
  • Adheres to established terminology, style, and editorial quality standards
  • Requires expanded knowledge and experience in own area; incumbents are still acquiring higher-level knowledge and skills
  • Builds knowledge of the company, processes, and customers
  • Solves a range of straightforward problems
  • Analyses possible solutions using standard procedures
  • Receives a moderate level of guidance and direction
  • Requires expanded conceptual knowledge in own area of expertise while developing additional skill sets
  • Understands key business drivers; uses this understanding to accomplish own work
  • No supervisory responsibilities but may provide guidance to new associates
  • Solves standard problems by analyzing possible solutions using experience, judgment and precedents
  • Impacts quality of own work and the work of others on the team; works within guidelines and policies
  • Explains information to others in straightforward situations
     

Basic Qualifications:

  • (IAT) Level I
  • 2 years of technical experience

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree

Security Clearance Requirements:

  • Top Secret

The projected compensation range for this position is $52,000-$86,000. There are differentiating factors that can impact a final salary/hourly rate, including, but not limited to, Contract Wage Determination, relevant work experience, skills and competencies that align to the specified role, geographic location (For Remote Opportunities), education and certifications as well as Federal Government Contract Labor categories. In addition, ManTech invests in it’s employees beyond just compensation.
