Currently, ManTech is seeking a motivated, mission and customer-oriented Training Specialist to join our team in the Washington D.C. area.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Interpret customer needs and through collaboration with subject matter experts and independent research, support the development of effective, high-quality training materials
Assesses, designs, and conceptualizes training scenarios, approaches, objectives, plans, tools, aids, curriculums, and other state of the art technologies related
Identifies the best approach training requirements to include, but not limited to hardware, software, simulations, course assessment and refreshment, assessment centers, oral examinations, interviews, computer assisted and adaptive testing, behavior-based assessment and performance, and team and unit assessment and measurement
Develops and revises training courses, prepares training catalogs and course materials
Trains personnel by conducting formal classroom courses, workshops, and seminars
Support the development and implementation of web-based security education and awareness tools
Basic Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science with 3 - 5 years of relevant experience
Knowledge, skills and abilities in SAFe Agile processes and methods
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Demonstrated initiative, sound judgment, effective decision-making
Preferred Qualifications:
Master’s degree Computer Science with 1 - 3 years of related experience
Conducts the research necessary to design advanced level specialized technology training programs to include network engineering, IT systems design, and IT systems implementation
Clearance Requirements:
Top Secret w/SCI
Physical Requirements:
Must be able to be in a stationary position more than 50% of the time
Must be able to communicate, converse, and exchange information with peers and senior personnel
Constantly operates a computer and other office productivity machinery, such as a computer
The person in this position frequently communicates with co-workers, management, and customers, which may involve delivering presentations. Must be able to exchange accurate information in these situations
