ManTech is seeking Top Talent as a DCGS-A Test Engineer, Journeyman.  In the execution of these efforts, the individual shall evaluate, analyze, critique, and/or assess the technical aspects of work performed by the contractor.

The contractor shall provide Software Maintenance Lifecycle support to include: program management, infrastructure and information technology management, Post Deployment Software Sustainment (PDSS) Mission Support, Post Production Software Sustainment (PPSS) Mission Support, cybersecurity and authorization support. 

The individual may be required to perform services at its own facility (off-site) or at a duty station at a designated U.S. Government facility or other designated facilities (on-site) within the Continental U.S. (CONUS).

The DCGS-A Test Engineer, Journeyman will:

  • Define, document, analyze, perform, and interpret developmental tests for new and/or modified products or product components
  • Investigate and resolve operational problems in conjunction with other engineering and technical personnel
  • Provide technical support and advice to other engineering groups
  • Devise and applies testing procedures for parts or sub-assemblies received from outside vendors
  • Participates in the development, maintenance and refinement of internal quality control and reliability programs

   

Requirements:

  • Must have a BS degree in Electronics Engineering or any other Scientific or Technical discipline is required. Minimum 3 Years’ experience (which occurred within the last 7 years). Experience with joint interoperability, GCCS-J, Track Management System (TMS), Ozone Widget Framework, and Army Battle Command Systems (ABCS) is highly desirable.
  • Creative problem solver to devise solutions using test systems/tools, company or customer furnished computer systems and equipment or commercial off-the-shelf packages
  • Plans, develops, implements tests, and customizes software test servers and tools
  • May support system/software test design, engineering evaluation, configuration management
  • May work with end users and may assist with training
  • Continues to improve technical expertise through the identification of new processes and technical alternatives to resolve problems and/or general improvements
  • 3 years’ experience defining, documenting, analyzing, and performing developmental tests
  • 1 year experience testing ARMY tactical systems


Preferred Qualifications:

  • Familiar with AMC / CECOM / SEC policies, procedures, and workforce
  • Possess knowledge of and have practical experience developing software for DOD programs subject to the DOD acquisition process
  • Position requires demonstrated initiative, sound judgment, effective decision-making, and excellent oral and written communication skills
  • DCGS-A experience

Clearance: 

Must have active TS/SCI clearance
