Currently, ManTech is seeking a motivated, career and customer-oriented SharePoint to join our team in the Chantilly, VA location.  We are expanding a core information system into a large scale enterprise and we are looking for candidates that are excited to grow with us.


Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Custom solution client-side development and maintenance using SharePoint Designer utilizing JavaScript, JQuery (and related libraries) and CSS3/HTML5.

  • Automation of Business Processes using SharePoint 2013 and 2016 Workflow capabilities within SharePoint Designer.

  • Planning, creation, configuration, customization, checks, and remedy of issues related to SharePoint Sites and user requirements.

  • Creation of dashboards/Business Intelligence based on key performance indicators.

  • Creating and/or implementing graphical design for customer SharePoint site branding

  • Management of site collection permissions

  • User training, provisioning, and management of SharePoint 2013 custom solutions and sites

  • Proactively identify and communicates issues, risks, progress to customer, contractor team, and IT stakeholders, providing options and next steps

  • Assist with staffing a SharePoint/Web Service Center of Excellence

  • Conduct and participate in regularly scheduled and ad hoc SharePoint testing

Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in an IT or STEM field or equivalent experience and 12 to 15 years of relevant IT experience

  • DoD 8570 IAT Level 2 certification required (CCNA Security, GICSP, GSEC, Sec+, CND or SSCP)

  • Microsoft Office SharePoint 2013 certification (exam 77-419) or equivalent Computing Environment certification or equivalent within 6 months of start

  • 10 years of experience in JavaScript, JQuery (or related libraries) and CSS3/HTML5

  • 10 years of experience using SharePoint Designer to customize and support SharePoint Sites

  • Extensive workflow development using out-of-the-box SharePoint capabilities and/or SharePoint Designer

  • Proven ability to participate in the analysis of IT and business issues

  • Experience supporting SharePoint 2013 and SharePoint 2016

  • Experience in Visual Studio, .NET Framework, and C#

  • Knowledge of the SharePoint App Model/Add In Model and SharePoint Framework

  • Knowledge or experience with Office 365 and/or Azure

  • Highly motivated and able to thrive in a fast-paced environment

  • Excellent problem solving skills

  • Proficiency in PowerShell and/or other scripting languages

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Knowledge or experience with Office 365 and/or Azure

  • Understanding of agile and waterfall software development models

  • Ability to provide superior customer service; possess strong communication (verbal and written) and interpersonal skills in a dynamic customer centric environment

  • Extensive knowledge of Windows based systems including Hardware, software, networking, and storage

  • Willingness to work after normal duty hours (nights and weekends) during scheduled maintenance windows 1 to 2 times a month on average

Security Clearance Requirements:

  • US Citizenship required and active TS clearance adjudicated within the last 6 years

  • Candidate must be open to CI poly

  • SCI eligibility not required.  Candidate will be submitted for SCI eligibility.

Physical Requirements:

  • Must be able to remain in a stationary position up to 75% of the time

  • Must be able to move about inside the office and datacenter to access IT equipment

  • The person in this position frequently communicates with co-workers, management, and customers, which may involve delivering presentations.  Must be able to exchange accurate information in these situations

  • Must be able to observe and detect employee deviations from established policy
