The Opportunity

We have been successful in securing several major infrastructure projects across our Australian businesses, and therefore have an exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic Senior Road Designer to join our Sydney team. This is a key role and a great opportunity for someone looking to join a global company and take the next big step in their career.

As the Senior Road Designer, you will be responsible for the following:

• Carry out Civil Design of Highways, Arterial Roads and Grade Separation projects using Bentley InRoads/OpenRoads and Microstation software to the appropriate standard and within agreed timelines.
• Modelling outputs to be in line with current market federated model & BIM requirements.
• Demonstrating an understanding of client needs and achieving a good level of client satisfaction
• Mentoring and leading less experienced civil designers in the team

?? Who are you?

As the Senior Road Designer you will have the following qualifications and experience:

• Associate Diploma in Structural/Civil Engineering or equivalent relevant qualification
• Competency using Microstation
• Proven work experience on Transport projects using InRoads/MX/12D/Openroads (looking to focus into InRoads/OpenRoads)
• Developed design & drafting experience including knowledge and experience of local & Australian standards.
• Experience working in a Design and Construct environment desirable
• Ideally looking for 7+ years’ industry related experience in an engineering consultancy environment
