Description

SAIC is seeking a Cybersecurity Privacy Analyst in support of the Department of Health and Human Services (HHS) cybersecurity mission to ensure HHS can actively protect the vital health information with which it is entrusted, respond to existing and emerging cybersecurity threats, and continue to enhance the program to ensure HHS has the capability and capacity to respond to new and emerging requirements, technologies and threats.

 

Duties and responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Privacy Impact Assessment (PIA) support:
    • Provide end-to-end PIA support; tracking of incoming PIAs; training; forecasting; reviewing; final signing; 508 compliance; and posting of PIA submissions. Departmental PIM reviews an estimated average of 30 PIAs per week; OS Privacy reviews an estimated average of 15 PIAs per week.
    • Update PIA documentation as needed.
    • Manage PIA-related communications.
  • Privacy Threshold Analysis (PTA) support.
  • Perform ad hoc tasks to include privacy breach response support; reviewing privacy-related policies, guidance, training, and other deliverables; supporting PIM events; and collaborating with Departmental, OpDiv, and external parties on privacy-related initiatives.

Qualifications

Required Education and Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree and 2+ years of experience, Associates and 4+ years of experience or 4 years of additional experience in lieu of a degree. Must have the adequate knowledge and skills to learn and perform the described job. 

  • 1+ years of hands on experience supporting PIAs and PTAs 

  • Demonstrated cybersecurity experience 

  • Experience working with or helping support a SOC 

  • Experience working with PIA documentation 

  • Experience supporting Privacy reviews

  • Having a cybersecurity certification is preferred 

  • Clearance Requirement: Must be a U.S. Citizen with the ability to obtain and maintain a Public Trust clearance.

Target salary range: $50,001 - $75,000. The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position based on experience and other factors.
