Job Summary

  • Directs and managers the entire project, guidance to subordinate managers, enforces company and project policies, and a primary liaison between AECOM and client interface

  • Accountable for all facets of the project are constructed in accordance with design, budget, and schedule

  • Overall responsibility and management of the project including but not limited to budgeting/schedule stage, procurement, through contract closeout

  • Position has primary fiscal responsibility and key liaison between client for assigned project

  • Lead engineering teams consisting of entry to mid-level engineers and technicians in the development of design plans for transportation projects with WVDOH and local agencies

  • Perform business development and marketing activities to generate future business

  • Project scoping and budget development, including complex and high-profile transportation design projects

  • Communicate with clients, agencies, stakeholders, and the public

  • Manage innovative transportation projects including financial, schedule, and design task management to deliver high-quality plans

  • Project financials, invoicing, and cash collections

  • Assist with the development of marketing strategies for targeted projects and clients

Minimum Requirements

Minimum Requirements :

  • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering

  • Ten (10) years of experience working on civil transportation projects

  • Ability to scope/estimate complex transportation projects

  • Ability to track and manage transportation project budgets and schedules

  • Valid driver's license required

Preferred Qualifications

Preferred Qualifications :

  • WVDOH Experience

  • Master’s Degree in civil engineering

  • Bentley Open Roads and/or Autodesk BIM experience with an emphasis on transportation engineering, water resources, structures, or other related markets
