PROGRAM MANAGER (FRCSW-21-1413-W):

Bowhead seeks a Program Manager to provide perform all local management actions associated with his/her employees located at the Fleet Readiness Center Southwest (FRCSW) San Diego, CA. Responsible for managing Technical government programs of moderate risk and complexity. Has P&L responsibility. Frequently is involved simultaneously in several programs. Oversees program budget and schedules prepared by subordinate staff. Has supervisory responsibilities including hiring, firing, salary and performance management. Serves as primary customer contact. Responsible for business development within current customer base and/or for new customers. Program complexity is the primary criteria for leveling, and dollar value of programs is secondary.

Primary functions include, but are not limited to: investigations and reports arising from any quality defect notices issued on the task order, verification of time sheets, introduction and orientation of employees.

Seeking individual with FRC experience. FRC experience supporting Naval Air Station North Island highly desired.

Requirements:

•Bachelor’s degree (preferred) and 7 years of relevant experience or an equivalent combination of education, experience and certifications.

•Minimum of four (4) years’ experience in Aerospace or Aircraft maintenance in a management position.

• Demonstrated knowledge of and experience with the requirements of the DOD 5000 series.

• FRC experience supporting Naval Air Station North Island, highly desired.

•Extensive computer/PC knowledge required including; spreadsheet software, word processing software and knowledge of MS Office Suite.

• Intermediate to advanced level skills in Microsoft Office software suite - Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint

• Ability to communicate effectively with all levels of employees and outside contacts

• Strong interpersonal skills and good judgment with the ability to work alone or as part of a team

SECURITY CLEARANCE REQUIRED: Must be able to obtain a security clearance at the Secret level. US Citizenship is a requirement for Secret clearance at this location.
