PMP Training Specialist (PMID-21-1308-W):

Bowhead seeks a PMP Training Specialist to support the PMID contract in Picatinny, NJ. The PMP Training Specialist provides AT&PDP Project Support. This includes providing dedicated support in assisting the government project lead and designated representatives for AT&PDP activities in accordance with the AT&PDP Implementation Plan.

Duties and Responsibilities
Provide dedicated support in the area of project management to include the following:
o Define the tasks and schedule to maintain Microsoft® Project Enterprise PM procedures as well as for the system for management information needs.
o Support the maintenance of scheduling discipline for project schedules.
• Identify any project based process/document/procedure changes necessary for sustainment or potential updates/upgrades to include alignment and integration of project management related policies, procedures, templates and lessons learned.
• Establish performance requirements and metrics or measures.
• Report status with follow-up actions if required. This shall include objectives and plans for the following activities:
o Meet with Management, define issues and identify users to conduct organizational assessments to identify stakeholder requirements, issues and improvement opportunities;
o Support and maintenance of scheduling discipline for project schedules;
o Analyze training, user feedback and apply lessons learned;
o Conduct training for Project Management as well as Program Management Professional (PMP) specific training.
o Conduct monthly Project Management Learning sessions.
o Generate informational papers, articles etc. as necessary in respect to Program Management.
• Support Project Officers (APOs), Project Integrators (PIs), and Associate Project Integrators (APIs) in any program management policies, practices and procedures.
• Provide Program Management specific training and guidance in line with the current PMBOK and PMP certification.
• Participate in continuous learning to maintain best practices in program management

Education: Bachelor’s degree in related field, minimum one year experience in project management and technology development processes.


Preferred Additional Skillsets:
• Experience with CCDC AC systems, policies and procedures.
• Hold current CAC
• Understanding of application of metrics into PMID processes for monitoring/controlling


CLEARANCE REQUIREMENTS: There are currently no Security Clearance requirements for this position; however, candidates must be able to successfully pass a background check. Due to the location of this work, US Citizenship is required. Bowhead reserves the right to change this requirement if necessitated by business needs or contractual obligations.
