Job Summary

Due to recent project wins in South East Queensland, we have an opportunity for an experienced Document Controller to join our Brisbane office. Working directly with our key client, this role will see you managing the registration and distribution of documents, reports, audits and project data through the efficient use of project management software.

This will be a fast-paced and autonomous role which will see you providing document control and administration services, working directly with our project team.

The role will include:

  • Providing document control services

  • Recordkeeping across meeting minutes, transmittals, request for information and health and safety matters;

  • Controlling documented drawings and files;

  • Providing project support services to support the efficient working of the teams;

  • Coordinating and assisting during internal project audit activities;

  • Other ad-hoc administration duties, as required.

This role is being offered on a contracting basis for an initial 3-month period.

Minimum Requirements

  • Previous Document Controller experience on engineering projects

  • Experience working in a project based role;

  • Substantial experience in relation to document and data management systems preferably including Asite and ProjectWise

  • High level ability in coordinating and maintaining a document management system, including developing process improvement initiatives;

  • Strong ability in problem solving, time management and organisational skills;

  • Substantial written, oral and interpersonal communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications

  • High level of proficiency working with the Microsoft Suite, including Excel.
