Job Summary

AECOM is seeking a Project Accountant to join our Finance Team in Calgary. This is a full-time, permanent position.

The project accountant provides budget and financial services, accounting for revenues and expenditures. Individuals assigned to positions in this job family perform work related to accounting, budgeting, reconciliation, financial planning analysis and reports.

Responsibilities

  • Supports moderately complex project(s), working under general supervision.

  • Prepares various financial reports and provides analysis and recommendations based on findings.

  • Requires a proven ability to apply professional concepts in a productive, consistent manner. Maintains records according to generally accepted accounting practices.

  • Performs audits and generates special financial reports.

  • Reviews projects for accurate revenue recognition and provides project analysis and recommendations based on findings.

Conditions of Employment

  1. In order to be valid, the test must have been conducted at the direction of AECOM - O&G Business Unit.

Minimum Requirements

  • BA/BS + 2 years of related experience or demonstrated equivalency of experience and/or education.

CPA Designation
