Senior Delivery Manager


The project is a major infrastructure programme for a mixed-use development aiming to be a global landmark recognized for its unique vision and position as an authentic destination in Riyadh. The community will be a distinct, self-sustaining hub for Riyadh offering several iconic assets. KBR will provide Project Management Consultancy services in project planning, controls, design and engineering management, and implementation of the development and early works packages.


Reports to and is responsible to the Project Director for the delivery of a University Infrastructure Projects.


  • Single point of ownership and management for the delivery of a portfolio of projects, from concept design to asset handover, as part of the programme management consultant’s role on aUniversity Infrastructure Projects.
  • Day to day management of individual project Design Managers and Project Managers depending on the phase of each project.
  • Interface with all disciplines of the programme management consultant team to meet the overall programme deliverables, including HSE, QA, engineering, project controls andcommercial to ensure consistent reporting across their portfolio, of a level that allows timely decisions to be made.
  • Interface with all relevant Government Departments and Agencies, Design and Supervision Consultants and Construction Contractors to meet the individual project and the overall programme deliverables
  • Provide the interface between projects in and ensure that lessons learnt are applied across allprojects .
  • Ensure the availability and implementation of an effective delivery strategy, standards, policies,proceduresand best practices
  • Review the performance of the Design and Supervision Consultants and the Construction Contractors within their portfolio, monitoring KPI’s, including on QHS&E requirements and take appropriate action where improvements are required.
  • Ensure the required support is provided to facilitate the timely payment of invoices and resolution of variations and claims.


  • BSc, engineering, architecture or equivalent.
  • Minimum 15 years overall experience
  • Minimum 5years experiencein a similar role
  • Minimum 5 years working experience in Middle East
  • Experience in managing a programme of major projects, preferably within the infrastructure sector, driving schedules, liaising with key stakeholders, managing high performing teams and relationship management
  • Chartered or Professional Engineer
  • Fluency in English language both written and spoken
  • Arabic language skills desirable but not essential
  • Experience use of MS Office.
