Currently, ManTech is seeking a motivated, mission and customer-oriented Project Control Analyst to join our team in the Washington D.C. area.  

 

Responsibilities include but are not limited to: 

  • Have clear understanding about programs that are supported by you, especially the financial aspects of program performance (full life cycle, from Bid and Proposal to Contract Close Out)

  • Understand forecast assumptions and forecast variance analysis

  • Be a business partner to operations team by providing invaluable analytics, guidance and reporting to ensure that contracts are within negotiated and agreed-upon parameters and cost control guidelines

  • Responsible for direct financial management and administrative activities, such as budgeting, manpower and resource planning and task/project reporting

  • Performs complex evaluations of project procedures, processes, techniques, or contractual issues, which would require a report and recommend solutions

  • Prepare charts, tables, graphs, and diagrams to assist in analyzing problems

  • Responsible for supporting Change Management Board related activities

  • Reviewing change requests and providing assessments

  • Build, maintain and manage forecasting models and advise how various scenarios of possible operational decisions affect contract revenue, profit/loss, remaining funding, subcontractor funding, and other financial and contractual aspects

  • Meet accounting close cycle deadlines (e.g., review and update accruals; review and prepare financial data for billing)

  • Manage, maintain, and monitor subcontractor funding and expenditures

  • Provide any ad hoc financial analysis as required 

 

Basic Qualifications: 

  • BS degree in Business Administration with 7 or more years of related work experience 

  • Experience in financial planning and analysis, project planning and control, forecasting, indirect rate management, and variance analysis

  • Effective written and verbal communication skills

  • Must be able to work collaboratively in a cross-functional team environment

  • Strong organizational and time management skills; must be able to multitask, prioritize and manage deadlines

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills

  • Demonstrated initiative, sound judgment, effective decision-making 

 

Preferred Qualifications: 

  • MS degree in Management, Business or Finance with 3 or more years of related work experience 

  • Project Management Institute (PMI) Project Manager Professional certification 

  • Excellent problem-solving skills 

 

Clearance Requirements: 

  • Top Secret w/SCI 

 

Physical Requirements: 

  • Must be able to be in a stationary position more than 50% of the time 

  • Must be able to communicate, converse, and exchange information with peers and senior personnel 

  • Constantly operates a computer and other office productivity machinery, such as a computer 

  • The person in this position frequently communicates with co-workers, management, and customers, which may involve delivering presentations. Must be able to exchange accurate information in these situations 

The person in this position needs to occasionally move about inside the office to access file cabinets, office machinery, etc.
