ManTech is currently seeking an experienced Forest Administrator to support our operations in Bremerton, WA.

General Responsibilities:

  • Account Management tools
  • Backup/Restore
  • Hardware Inventory Management
  • Security Technical Implementation Guides (STIGS)
  • Assured Compliance Assessment Solution (ACAS)
  • Duties and responsibilities of the Cyber Security Workforce for DOD

Mandatory Skills Requirements:

  • 3+ years experience as a Forest Administrator
  • 3+ years of experience with implementing or monitoring information security and compliance with DOD system settings and processes
  • Manage PKI, DNS, and DHCP
  • Manage Active Directory with Group policy objects
  • Excellent understanding of administering Active Directory in a large environment, support of a customer base, backup and restore, performance tuning, setting up high availability solutions, replications, and disaster recovery
  • Has developed and/or maintained system documentation and standards
  • Have a thorough knowledge of the syntax, capabilities, and limitations of messaging systems including knowledge of the interaction between production programs and the operating system
  • Experience in monitoring system resource utilization to detect and solve problems that are about to occur
  • The candidate’s analytical approaches and results are reviewed for technical and professional adequacy
  • Review of complex IT related data from multiple sources and determining relevant information
  • Experience in monitoring system resource utilization to detect and solve problems that are about to occur
  • Ability to draft, edit, and disseminate written reports and status updates
  • Ability to maintain relationships with customers with diverse needs
  • Provide technical or complex information about products and services
  • Ability to assess customers' needs and identify or tailoring products and services to meet them
  • Ability to resolve complex or non-routine issues
  • Ability to explain moderately complex ideas or information clearly
  • Skilled in listening to others and recognizing potential miscommunications
  • Skilled in identifying and solving problems by gathering and applying information from a variety of materials or sources
  • Active DoD SECRET security clearance
  • Currently have COMPTIA Security + and be able to obtain Widows Server Administrator certification in 6 months
