Description
SAIC is currently looking for Integrated Shipboard Network System Technician based in Norfolk. VA. The successful technician will provide on-site field engineering and technical support services for the Mid-Atlantic Regional Maintenance Center (MARMC) Code 281, C2I Systems Branch, including:
Technical support and assistance to assess, inspect, and correct system faults in Integrated Shipboard Network System (ISNS) (AN/USQ-153V(X) and other C2I systems/equipment for which qualified
Contractor shall identify and correct anomalies associated with installation, operation, maintenance, and connectivity problems.
Qualifications
BS and 1 year or High School graduate or GED and 5 years
Hold and maintain a DOD SECRET clearance
Minimum of 5 years experience with AN/USQ-153 ISNS family, or AN/USQ-208 CANES and 6 years Naval experience
Minimum of six years of specialized experience operating, maintaining, troubleshooting, and testing of (AEGIS-like) Computer Networks
While not required, any experience gained at a Mobile Technical Unit (MOTU), Fleet Technical Support Center (FTSC) or Regional Maintenance Center (RMC) may be more advantageous to the government and should be so annotated in candidate resume.
Cyber Security Workforce (CSWF) certified (for example holds current COMPTIA Security+ or A+ certification)
Experience with general and special purpose electronic test equipment to perform both organizational and intermediate level maintenance
Having attained special skills such as basic soldering, wire wrap, connectorization skills, fiber optics, etc. may be advantageous to the MARMC C281 customer
Possess and maintain a valid CPR Certification from a nationally accepted organization
Possess and maintain a valid Passport
Active Secret Clearance
